Please help - cod waw multiplayer shows black screen

when i boot up the game and click on multiplayer i leads me to a black screen and no sounds or anything

does anyone know how to resolve this?

Have you tried just waiting? It's fairly normal, sometimes it can take 2+ minutes to get to the menu.
