PLEASE help CS:S!!!

i accidentaly turned the resolution higher than my tv, and now whenever i try to play css i get the blue screen. i still hear the sound when i move the mouse, but i cant seea thing! how can i reverse this? my tv is samsung 26 inch, is there any option on steam to put css back how it were without losing my downloads? any help is kindly appreciated!

uninstall the game and avoid doing that again :)

goto your games list in steam, right click on CSS, launch properties, then type in" dxlevel- 90 " this resets the graphic settings to default for directx 9.0.

Next time you start up CSS remove this from the launch properties thing, because it will reset your graphic settings every time

i deleted the local content, instlaled it again and nothing, then i did what you told me and i wrote that on the launch properties and i still got the blue screen :( . i dunno what to do!

please help, i'm really really stuck!

can't you give it the command -safemod ... or something like that

google it to know what are available commands to add to CSS in the "launch options"

Don't use a TV as a monitor... You never wanna do that cause TV's have horrible resolutions, you wanna use monitors as TVswhgresiak

you right - better to get a cheap CRT screen and not using TV
