it has an 8ms response time, I was actually going to get this monitor instead LINK the first one is a 24" though, I would rather spend a little more money to get that. do you think it's a good monitor? thanks

Both are ok for games but to play athigh settings at 1900x1200 you will need 8800GTX

Well, I could get the 24" monitor for like 350 dollars. I know I need an 880GTX for that type of resolution, but for right now I am only going with one 2900PRO, so I will probably play games at a lower resolution. In the future I will have a crossfire set up, so I will be ok. I just don't want to waste a lot of money right now on cards. Once I have the crossfire set up this resolution should be no problem.

Bad news for you mate. 2900Pro is limited edition card because of some overclock problems and soon you will not find one to make the crossfire. Unless you get a used one

oh, I never heard that before. Thanks for the info. I will have to look at another card then, maybe the 1950 one.

like I said, I am doing a crossfire set up, so I kinda have to go with ATI. My motherboard is from Intel and it supports crossfire. I have not bought the motherboard yet, but planning on buying it soon. Maybe I will just go with the 2900xt. I don't know.
