Please help me pick . 360 OR PC upgrade?!???!!?

I have a great PC . video card holds me back a bit.

AMD athlon 64 x 2 dual core

2 gigs ram

250 gig hdd

xp

7600gt ( runs most games on high.cept crysis)

hdtv ( 27in) highest res 1280x720

just trying to wonder if i should just stick with 7600gt n get 360 n rock band n stuff n stead . Because my 7600gt runs like every new game just fine.. But it would be nice to get full everything at 70 fps or so lol.

dude trust me... go for the pc upgrade option.. pc games are cheap and you can get easily 16 players or 8 players for multiplayer games on any server on a pc multiplayer game.. what do u think u wanna do with 4 gazzillion players ????

and on to of that xbox 360 games cost a bomb... trust me, i bought a wii and i havent plaed any game on it after wii sports..

$100 for one game, its ridiculous... pc games are cheap and they look better. you have a good config for time being... later on upgrade the cpu as well, but its all good for now... personall 360 will burn a hole in your pocket

Gears of War is the worst game I've played in my life that scored a 9.0. There is no reason to play it on any system.

If you upgrading ur comp just for Crysis I would go for the 360 ! I was very disappointed with Crysis there are much better FPS out there and until they patch it the game is very poorly optimized. GO with the 360 your system can handle most pc games anyways right now. and pricedrops are gonna come soon for PC anyways.brayant321

I was in this same deal 2 weeks ago.. PC upgrade or 360..

After much debate and flip flopping back and forward I said PC. It may cost more money in the long run with upgrading but if you are a PC lover such as myself you won't want to give that up. Mouse and keyboard forever for FPS games along with others like RTSs. I also just ordered a XFX 8800GT to upgrade from a 7800GT should be here tomorrow. I bought 2 matching 22" monitors and a new gaming case for better cooling Antec Nine hundred, it kicks arse!

It way to much fun doing all this stuff and seeing your outcome of it if you know enough to do it.

I say upgrade the PC man unless you just have friends over alot then console might be better so you can have your buddies play games with ya. This isn't the case with me since usually I just play with them online instead.

That is what drives me freeking insane with this. The games are alot cheaper . You get free maps ( no bs microsoft points) However xbox live is a great online experience , but its hard to enjoy when you have a 13 year old lil kid hosting the room thinking hes god. COD4 is sooooo much easier to just hit the damn icon on my pc refresh a server list and have a game in seconds . COD4 Is matchmaking on console an I personally think that matchmaking is gay Rock Band looks like alot!!!!! of fun though too lol . I would hate to buy a 350$ 360 to buy another 170$ bundle for a rythum game. My mind is like jumping back n forth. Dedicated servers solves alot of hassle because you can enjoy the game with most ppl around the same ping as you have. I really just dont know what to do lol . ALOT more people on xbox live use mics which is a good think ( SOMETIMES)

I am still just soooo damn confused lol ( gta , resident evil 5 , dead space) thers alot of good games going to be console only n it just sucks!! lol idk what to do

ROFL, you are on crack man. Ever play any games like say Doom,Quake 3, Unreal Tournament 2004 (didnt like it that much but still..),F.E.A.R,Half-Life, Half-Life 2,Team Fortress (original)? These all blow the POS that is Crysis out of the water..

Agreed Crysis trys to do to much at one time and as a result does not do any of them well except the graphics. I'm Sorry but i'll pass i think the only reason why half the people play is cause they hyped it up on these boards for months before it came out and they don't wanna admit they were wrong. I also feel that the reveiw was weak as hell he really didn't say anything about the game other then how it looked.
