Okay. Long story short, I received a new Dell Laptop for christmas....and it is a great system...except of course for this crappy integrated graphics card! As I am finding out at a rapid pace, I can't play a massive amount of games...Titan Quest was the first, but now GTA San Andreas, Elder Scrolls Oblivion and Tiger Woods 07 have followed. Thing is, I've passed the 'system specs' test for every category for all of the above games and then some EXCEPT for this card, as you can see below.

My question is, and keep in mind that I am a relative noob regarding system hardware, where/how can I get a new laptop graphics card? Are they available at most stores (Best Buy, Future Shop) and distinguishable from PC cards? Second, how will I install said card?  I've listed my specs below, compard to the minimum requirements for Elder Scrolls Oblivion. Thanks for any help in advance!

You can't get a new laptop GPU usually, but if you can, it's only from buying it from the manufacturer of the laptop. And installing it is a long and hard process. And your laptop's CPU speed isn't 4.94 Ghz, it's reading your speed wrong.

Well, you could wait for the asus external graphics card for laptops... But i wouldn't expect it soon, and your laptop is nice except for that graphics card, and since you didn't previously have a graphics card, you most likely cannot install a new one, some dell laptops let you replace them.

I think it may be reading your cpu speed wrong?? cause I think most p4s would have given up the ghost at 5 GHZ. And well your going to have to ring up dell and ask them for advice, cause upgrading graphics cards for laptops isnt an easy task.

Unfortunately in the majority of cases you can't upgrade the GPU in a laptop. ASUS are developing an external card where you put a PCI-E card in the external, and connect it via the PCMCIA slot on the laptop, I do not know how long this will take to come out though.
