Please Help, Need Opinions

I have the opportunity to buy a laptop and was planning on putting together an Alienware but I'm undecided as to what parts I should choose. Can anybody help me and let me know what the best graphics card, processor,ect I should choose? My main focus for this computer is to use Maya and render work out so I'm looking for something powerful but less then $2K, thank.

Your budget is less than $2000, you do intensive applications, and you want an Alienware? Seriously, custom-build. You will get a far more powerful computer for $2000 than any Alienware.
