I am planning to get my dad a PC game, but have no idea what is new and good. He has/likes games like...call of duty, medal of honor, ghost recon, deer hunter, fear, brothers in arms. Does anyone have any suggestions. I really want to buy him something he will like. I'm not looking for a down-loadable game though.

Can you wait a bit for Modern Warfare 2?! What about Batman: AA?! Best wishes for Papa Lawton and all the other families on Gamespot!!

It seem's like he's a fps nut

I'd reccomend Team Fortress 2, the Half Life series (On sale now!). Left 4 dead 1-2. Far Cry 2

If he wants a little something diffrent but with familiar concepts then I'd say Stalker: Shadows of Chernobyl, and Fallout 3
