Poll #5 - What was the best PC Game of 2003 (from this list)?

Oh, what the heck, I'll start this one tonight....Some pretty good games on this list.

REMINDER: PLEASE VOTE ON MY FINAL 5 POLL (1999-2002) WHICH IS STILL GOING ON.

ALSO, FOR THIS POLL PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE EXPANSIONS (ie don't include United Offensive or Thrones and Patriots) OR MODS.

However, for Vice City you can use the fact that you can customize your music as part of the game, as I recall that's part of the game's greatness (and one reason it is superior to console versions) upon release.

KOTOR all the way. First RPG I played done in that manner, everything before that had been DnD style.

I'm pretty sure I'll have , Riddick, Farcry and Vampire on the first Poll... DOOM 3, UT 2004, and HL2 should be on the second, plus of course 4 other games between the two 2004 Polls.

I can't go completely alphabetical, too many FPS on 1 poll, probably be too many anyways....a great year for the FPS.

Yeah, some pretty good games are gonna be left out.

If I removed say DOOM 3 for Silent Storm, you just know there will be some uproar over that. BTW, I liked DOOM 3, it was just the way it was supposed to be, though I know thats not everyones cup of tea. DOOM 2 is my fav game of all-time, D3 didn't quite get there IMO but still a well-done game.

Pirates was AAA here and many places couldn't quite drop it out either.

I fully expect HL2 to be the overall victor for 2004, but it would kind of be interesting if another game actually tops it.

I'll ask everyone not to include the 2 episodes with HL2, just the game itself when voting. Same goes with expansions for other games.

Vice City, it was better than any other GTA game I've played.

1999-2002 Poll has closed....Diablo 2, Max Payne, and Planescape Torment will be worked into future Polls at some point.

KotOR's going to win, but there's a possibility I may give a 2nd game here a chance to move on.

For me it has to be Max Payne 2. It built upon what made the original great and made it even better (and actually made the plot rather easier to follow). It also removed those irritating dream sequences during which Max could 'die'. I still love playing through that game to this day.
