to me:
its serioulsy unbelievable... it took me a while to enjoy it as much as I do now- its definitely deeper than it first appears.
the multiplayer / campaign / music / graphics... just top notch.
oh, and the armory rocks- haha.

I wouldn't go as far as to say It's "Amazing, Greatness" pant wetting experience .. Or anything a long those lines. And it's better than "quite good". It's sort of in between those two.
Multiplayer is very good. But single player was a missed oppertunity, I don't think the whole SC2 split into three games thing really worked. The single player of WOL did not feel complete.
I'm not really into strategy games, but I purchased SC2 and found the single player campaign to be amazing. I've played it through twice and might do a third run in a few weeks. The story might not have any real big surprises but it's well written, voice acting is incredible and so are the cut scenes. Multiplayer is pretty nice but I'm really bad at it and I prefer FPS gaming online :)
Did you play the SP campaign?Got to top diamond then got bored... now I play DotA on it :P It's a great game though. But RTS games get way too repetitive for me. When you play 10-15+ matches a day at 10-15 minutes each it gets brain numbingly boring.

Like I said it's a good game. Not every game gets boring :P Ive played Battlefield 2 over 1000 hours =/ But I see what you mean :P
Hint: You're playing too much. Every game would get boring at that pace. :PGot to top diamond then got bored... now I play DotA on it :P It's a great game though. But RTS games get way too repetitive for me. When you play 10-15+ matches a day at 10-15 minutes each it gets brain numbingly boring.

I switch between my games. When one gets bored I play another.... Same thing happened to me with CoD4 MP, I couldn't stop playing and it got boring. I went back to it months later and it was fun again....[QUOTE="FelipeInside"][QUOTE="Prexxus"] Yeah I beat the SP campaign before touching the MP. It was nice :) Prexxus
I love the game
always love when a game comes around that can last me for years of entertainment
months of playing the beta and release and it still hasn't lost the joy
I WANT to play the MP but I am afraid. I am not very good at RTS. I finished the SP Campaign but had to on CASUAL, since some missions were too hard for me (lol). Will I get smashed online? I only know how to play with Terran too....are they underpowered?I love the game

I just feel (when I play SP of course) that the Zerg have the whole regenerating thing.... and the Protoss have the whole "warp in" thing.... so Terran always feel underpowered against them....I love the game

What happens if someone disconnects on purpose when they are loosing? Does it give you the winning points and give him the looser points?Fun game thought it was just okay at first but then grew on me, 2v2s with buds are so fun dont play much 1v1 though, I probably should

[QUOTE="NanoMan88"]What happens if someone disconnects on purpose when they are loosing? Does it give you the winning points and give him the looser points? Terran are actually considered to be overpowered. And if someone disconnects they lose the game and get deducated points. You are given points for the win aswell. Don't fall for all that bs people say though, Terran is not overpowered. If anything Protoss need some looking at right now.Fun game thought it was just okay at first but then grew on me, 2v2s with buds are so fun dont play much 1v1 though, I probably should

I was scared to start my matches online aswell. But when I got into it more and more it got easier. I was in the top 200 list for NA for a few weeks before I stopped playing 1v1. You just need to take that first step and do it :) They also give you 50? Practice matches that do not count in your overall ranking later and are played at a slower pace with destructible rocks preventing rushes to your base for learning.
If you don't want to do the practice matches then you will have 5 placement matches against 5 dfifferent leagued players and they will place you in the best league for your skill level. You should almost always be playing people of similar skill level.

o man- the online MAKES the game... the campaign is awesome and all... but the meat of the game is the online play. get online asap if you want to truly learn how to get good :)
I find it to be one of the best RTS I've played, after playing 3 SP matches I went on to play MP. Played 10 or so so far and lost all of 'em(1v1) :P, but I'm learning. Now I'm able to hold up longer against enemies.gigatrainerFinish the SP man, it's worth it...

Yeah, I think I finally will.. it's like MW, the SP is only the beginning.... Of course stupid question but no problems finding a match right? The gameplay was incredibly fun, but I thought the writing in the campaign was rather shoddy - especially in dialogue terms.
I'd give it a 75 out of 100.
I've put a little over 20 hours on the game using a friends copy; there's no way I'm paying $60 for a video game when the devs are already going make millions, and millions, and millions of dollars in pure profit even if they charged $50 per unit.
Rant aside, I feel the game represents no major improvemt over the first to warrent a 10 year wait. It's a good game, but it's way too much like the old for me to think of it as anything other than an expansion. The graphics could have been WAY better; What happened to the amazing CGI videos; Single player was super short and only took me like 9 or 10 hours to complete; online play has a limited unit selection; online connection is required. The real star of Starcraft II in my opinion is the new battle.net. The improvements to the online connectivity are the only thing that I was taken-back with in Starcraft II.
So if a dev creates a great game and deserves people to buy their game, you won't....?I'd give it a 75 out of 100.
