I would say about 8.6... Some of Gamespot's reviewers seem to sometimes draw a score from a giant hat, so I supose it will also be depentend on who reviews it...
PC ZONE UK allready reviewd it and gave it 85%, I think most magazines/web sites will score around the mid 80's. Stalker seems to offer (according to most that has played either the singleplayer beta or final) a very original FPS experiance. Good graphics, great action against a really good AI, large open areas to explore and a world that continues to go on with or without you... The bad; bad voice acting (in the English version), poorly constructed story and a few bugs (not as much as expected)...
The above is the points that's made consistently by all that has played the game... PC Zone also complaint about there not being a lot of mutants, but that's not a problem to me... :)Â
usually when a game is hyped this long and postponed numorous times, it spells dissaster. Im thinking prolly in the high 70's score. Now a score of 70+ is not a total dissaster but a dissapointment nontheless, considering this game was supposed to be the next "big thing".
If a few lesser known critics are rating it in the 80's now, then surely that means Gamespot will score lower. I am betting it will get no higher than 7.9. And even though that technically means "Good" at gamespot, we all really know that means "flop".
