Uninstall Mcafee Security Center its one of the worst in detecting malware and spwares get the better Internet Security Suite , I recommend Bitdefender or Kaspersky , First Format your 'C' Drive reload windows bcoz the traces of Mcafee will interfere with the other Secutity Suites, Use Mozilla Firefox as your Primary Browser and Install Mozilla Addon Adblock Plus . I hope it helps you a lot

its best to waste those 60 bucks you spent on mcafee then to get your computer destroyed by viruses

If you want to be a professional, insteall this between your router and all of your pcs http://www.untangle.com/How-to-Install-Untangle-Apps

Basically it can block spam, viruses, spyware etc. You just need a spare pc with 2 nics.

Or if you want to be a normal human, just download avast and ad-adware.

Mozilla is a walking target now, and with the bugs in Firefox, and all of the add-ons that could potentially be targeted, it's simply concerning. You're better off using an obscure browser and disabling ActiveX support if you want "security".

To be fair firefox is pretty safe because it's open source. Someone can see it and report it... Though I find it very secure, though I use Chrome.
