Personally it sounds like it's just speculation and/or rumor milling (alleged employee?), and I don't think we will see D3 this year. Believe me when I say I hope to be wrong though lol...

This game will be really easy to run. And the screenshots looked great. I though it would be higher speeds for the CPU.

That's why I love it... because it's only gonna help their sales aswell. Like you say, you can probably crank it up quite a bit aswell. I'm psyched if these turn out to be true

Bear in mind though that DIablo games have never been system heavy. Blizzard always like to milk the online component so even dudes playing from a trailer park can partake, which if u recall is going to be the case with Starcraft 2 when it launches. Im betting just a vertex and pixel shader 2.0 will do the trick.WeekdayWarrior

WOW, I we all know Blizzard like taking care of the mass, but common my 6 year old Sony Machine blows those specs out the water.

Why is it too much to ask for to have good looking graphics. At the least they should have an option to take advantage of modern machines. I hope it's not released this year, that way they can take some extra time on it and bump up the glitter :)

I remember hearing that Blizzard wanted to break 1 billion dollars in sales (not WoW subscriptions) for 2009.

Theres no release date for Starcraft 2, and we're expected to believe that one exists for Diablo 3?
