Mine although later today, I'm going to buy a 27" AOC 1080p monitor to replace that old 19" HP if it's in stock at the local Best Buy. My computer desk is custom-built and also disassembles into 5 components. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to get it inside the (spare) bedroom.
When visitors/relatives stay for a while, they use my den. I move my computer to the family room.
Recently swapped desks, so everything isn't in place yet and my computers still need to be installed properly and in their right place...

hmmmmm is this you in a year or two?
BattleStation 1. This is where most of the magic happens gaming, video editing etc.
Right now I'm looking at a better case. The OEM case I'm using right now sucks and all my parts are running a little warm. I'm looking at the rosewell challenger and the Haf 922

Nope. I'll be gaming on a Sony Bravia III 42" TV... ;) Once I have it back :(

IHappy New Year, y'all.
Crap. The local Best Buy doesn't stock anything bigger than 23" monitors. So, no AOC 27" for me. Oh well. I bought a 1080p Dynex 24" 1080p TV for the same price as my 19" LCD (monitor) from 4 years ago. Oh well. 24" is still a huge jump from the old 19". Plus, the image quality is surprisingly decent after some adjustments.
Some of you guys 'n' dolls seem to have a cleaning lady or otherwise are sunday users... Or maybe I must clean out my cave more often...
What Desk is that?Happy New Year, y'all.

It's a custom-built solid wood corner desk. It has a CPU hutch with sliding tray. I'm not using the tray because my speaker cables can't quite reach. I'd have to cut another hole that's closer first.
Edit: The Dynex 24" TV is actually pretty big compared to the old 19" monitor. But, it sits almost at the very corner at the back while the 19" is over two feet closer.
My setup right now is purely temporary because I'm at home for Christmas break. When I get back to school and get everything set up I'll post a decent picture. Right now I'm using a tiny desk that I barely fit under (pretty sure it's a child's desk) and my PC is sitting on wood blocks because I have a very thick carpet and I didn't want the PSU fan to be blocked haha. You can see a pic of that in the rate my rig thread if you go back like three pages.saruman354
We don't want decent pictures... we want SMUT... AAAaaarghhhh... Oops...

That's alright. I once had the carton box of a TV as a desk for 5 months while we waited for our house to get done back in Jan 2004.

Oh, it wasn't too bad. That carton box was pretty strong holding up two CRT monitors. He He.
By summer of 2004, this was my setup:
I love looking at old photos. It's like a time capsule. I also like to see how new technology changed stuff.

When you were using the cardboard box (Oh, God ), did you use a chair or did you just sit on the floor? Please, don't take offense to my laughter. It's just so funny. There was a period of time where I was using a chair as a "desk" for my laptop. I'd sit on the edge of my bed, in front of the chair.

Oh no. I wouldn't take offense over such little things. In fact, I found my setup hilarious. That's why I took some photos.
Our house was still in the process of being purchased. Plus all our furniture were in storage. We stayed at an apartment in the meantime. Our dining table was a folding card table like this:
with tiny folding chairs like this (almost like kiddie chairs). I used one as a computer chair.
I had bottles and rappers and all sorts of trash around mine. I cleaned it up just for the picture! Some of you guys 'n' dolls seem to have a cleaning lady or otherwise are sunday users... Or maybe I must clean out my cave more often...

I remember seeing some of those setups on 4 chan a few days ago. They had the same thread going there.
Lol didn't know 4 chan gets censored if you put it together.
[QUOTE="markop2003"][QUOTE="mrbojangles25"]HekynnIt's not that bad, i currently have 3 monitors and 6 PCs in this room. 3 Monitors is just overkill lol. Just save up and grab a LEDTV built for gaming on the PC's and consoles like the Sony Bravia 46 inch LED screen. LED TV would still equal 1920*1080, i need pixels more than space. This isn't for gaming but for programing, better gaming experiance is just a side effect of upgrading for a better programming experiance.

I also wanted to put a second picture in, but it kept telling me that my HTML was not well formed, so I could only post 1 picture at a time. That is the reason for the double post. Sorry.

You're getting the HTML error because you're using BB-Code. Use HTML Code to post your pictures from now on.
Or just use the gamespot picture thingy, works lovely.JigglyWiggly_
I don't think it automatically resizes images.

Just waste bandwidth and upload it to imageshack, or just force everyone to load big images :) Too much work writing that out. Please Log In to post.
