Potentially best thing about SteamOS

Since SteamOS is based on linux and will likely be open that means that there is great potential in the OS. From game developers to gamers making their own consoles. But the best thing that could likely come from all this is EMULATORS!! From NES to PS2 all easily installed on a linux based platform. What are your thoughts?

best bit of steam os is getting a cheap 1080p laptop, hooking it up to my tv and being able to stream my games from my main PC.MBirdy88
