Amazing offer.
THQ is one of the few publishers that "gets" Steam. BTW, a new Red Faction is scheduled for next year.

It's a new game releasing in March. It's the first game by Ukrainian developers 4A Games. In many ways, it reminds me of STALKER, though it looks much more linear as I believe it takes place mostly underground.Whats metro?

It's because it's not that interesting, in my opinion at least.Hmm Red Fraction dropped in value quickly.

[QUOTE="Forerunner-117"][QUOTE="purple_MAN1832"]It's because it's not that interesting, in my opinion at least. Its a decent game... doesn't run that well on any platform though. Honestly it runs pretty well on my PC from 3 years ago, but I just find it hard to stay interested in the game. The destruction is awesome, yes, but other than that I found myself getting bored quite easily. Maybe it has something to do with the drab landscape, who knows?Hmm Red Fraction dropped in value quickly.

Dunno about Metro 2033...screams generic in pretty much every way.

...generic? Are you for real? Post-apocalyptic society living in a subway network and facing off against monsters? It's also based on a novel, or series of novels..Motion blur does wonders, the framerate gets as low as 20 fps on any rig it seems.kevy619I actually run it with motion blur and like I said, it's not too bad. Just when you're taking down a large building and you're standing right next to it, but that's kinda to be expected I guess, haha. But yes, that is one of the settings that hits the framerate hardest. [QUOTE="keyboardswiz"][QUOTE="Forerunner-117"] It's because it's not that interesting, in my opinion at least. Another stupid useless post. No more stupid or useless than yours.
Yeah... while these free game deals with preorders are nice, I'm not willing to preorder a game I have no idea will be good or not.Dunno about Metro 2033...screams generic in pretty much every way.

Well maybe not completely generic, but there's really nothing new about post apocalyptic societies in games.Dunno about Metro 2033...screams generic in pretty much every way.

Don't really know if I want Metro 2033 either, but I'll be sure to scoop up the RFG deal on D2D.
