pretty severe crysis issues

oki runnin crysis for little under a week pulling up to the part where your fighting all the aliens on the boat

now up until this part crysis has ran beautifuly (15 - 30fps) throughout the entire game on high
it still runs normally but randomly crashes through out this part. its happend to me 6 times

Crysis 1.2
CPU: Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5200 @ 2.50GHz (upgrade pending)
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2
RAM: 4GB
OS: Vista 32bit

Googled "random crashes on crysis", one person decreased the voltage on their CPU, the other removed their soundcard. It seemed to fix it. I don't know :?

I'm sorry :( Maybe turn down your settings, that's a pretty graphically demanding level, right?

would you tune down the settings seeing the comparison to medium and high

and it seems to still run at around 20 fps :S

gamespot is usually fail when it comes to decent ppl

Is it a normal CTD(Crash to desktop) or is a particular error message displayed after the crash? Also update your video card drivers,patch the game and update your DirectX and OS.

At the reckoning level, I used to see my frames drop dramatically, because this level has more to process than the previous. But I deleted Nvidia Forceware Network Adapter Manager, turned off my AA, and the fps went from 15 to 25-30
