Prey is "sold out" on steam?

What? How does that happen?

since its not valves game and it needs a cdkey they ran out of the ones they were given

Yeah, I saw that on Steam a little while ago too. Had a good chuckle at the fact that a virtual game somehow sold out.

Steam ran out of keys so 2K let steam sell Bioshock for $4.99!! I just bought it and the servers are too busy to download :P

Perhaps they replaced Prey with Bioshock, because Prey is region restricted and Bioshock is not. This means more sales.S0H0

Steam gets 10000 keys for Prey, 10000 copies of Prey are sold so they cant sell anymore. For Example that is.
