I have been playing PoP The Forgotten Sands for an few hours now, but I ran into a problem which I hope someone can help me with! Apparantly this new PoP game works with 'load last checkpoint' instead of just saving whenever you see a fountain. I'm currently in the part of the game where I defeated this small red titan thingy. After he is defeated, he reveals a button to open a metal door. Of course the only way to get to that door (after pushing the button) is to jump around and swing on poles. After I ran through that door, a series of traps are shown. Unfortunatly, I died there (despite the 'press Q to rewind time'). The problem is, now I'm standing in front of a closed door and I can't get back down because it's to high for the prince! I can't jump back to the pole because it's to high! I wanted to upload a screenshot, but apparently the game won't let me make screenshots because the output is completely black. Does someone have a solution for this problem?
Oooooohooo my friend, same level, same problem, same "Start new game" again... Check my post from last night. It's really annoying, and the only thing is to start a new game...
I don't think it has anything to do with "legit or no legit" game. It has to do with autosave just infront of those doors. When you pull leveler to open the doors you have limited amount of time to get through them, and then they close. So, if you get killed passed that point, you will end in front of that doors, but now they are closed, and the game obviously don't recognize that you are back because you got yourself killed. I think it's a bug, and only thing you can do is to start yourself a new game. But what will happen later when you advance more? Would you be so eager to start all over again? I don't think so...
Thanks for your answers! I started a new game, I hope I don't run into more of these bugs. I read something about a button to open a door, but the door won't open... I guess at that point I just have to wait for a patch or something.
And Ubisoft scores again.Don't blame Ubisoft though,it's the pirates....again.

I blame ubisoft, we cant tell for sure if this thread is referring to the legal or illegal version but ubisoft is famous for their faulty games with weird problems that appear for no reason. I remember on the two thrones there was a bug that your player fell down and did not grab on a ledge, ubisoft forums tried for 2 years to figure out what is the problem and then a user jumps out and says that its the v sync and you have to turn it on....FAIL, or should i speak about far cry 2 when a door does not open on a certain mission or that it likes to freeze on the loadscreens for some people? Or should i mention double agent?

Please DO NOT accuse if you don't have hard evidence. Like others just wrote, bugs happens, and they should fix them... This post is only about that...

theres a drm check every time a door opens, skidrow said themeselves they missed the one at that door... nobody else besides pirates and you have had this problem so...
we have gone too far with this, and i agree with coreybg, this is not the place to talk about anything alse but the game itself... now I am sorry for even entering this discussion.
