hi guys and gals

just a quick problem that needs an answer from you guys..

okay the situation is that whenever i load up my pc, the screen at the beginning were for me it says Fujitsu Siemens (BIOS screen i believe) hangs there....and sometimes doesnt even go past it...

However, if i was to switch of the pc for approx 10-15 seconds and start it up again it works fine, lags for 1-2 secs and goes to the windows loading screen were i can log on etc.

can anyone give me a diagnostic of my problem and hopefully a solution as well..

Thank you!

It might be a problem with the bios not being able to recognize one of your drives properly.

I would check the ide, sata and psu connectors and make sure there in there good.

(i would unplug and replug everything)

one of the connectors could be broken and finding out which one it is, is gonna be hard.

it might just be the bios , theres allot of things it might be but the connects would be my first guess

Your harddrive might be on the verge of failure.

These are all just possiblities though

Could be corrupt bios, try flashing.

And make sure all the expansion cards and memory are seated  good well aswell.
