Problem with ati video card.

I have an ati x1900gt and whenever i run half-life 2 at high,medium, or even low settings it lags and the fps is very low i don't know what the problem could be.

Virus maybe? Virus scan, memtest, Speedfan see how hawt it is.

Yea not everyone updates drivers or know what they are didnt even think of that :? ATi.com go to drivers ;)

you always have to have the latest drivers. If you haven't upgraded the drivers in some time, that is expected.

when I built my PC, the graphics looked like crap (X1600PRO) Ive upgraded the drivers and there were no problems
