Hi hello fellow pc gamers, i have been running into problems with my Monitor yesterday, and today my montior wont turn on anymore. I Have a Samsung syncmaster P2370 23unch monitor in case you need to know the model. It started yesterday by not wanting to display a game when i booted it up then it would display the image. I had to turn the computer off and unplug the monitor, however when i did that my monitor wouldn't display past 1024x768. I rebooted my pc and it was working ok then. Then today this morning I turned on my PC and my monitor jsut kept going into standby mode and wouldn't display anything.

Before this all happened sometimes when i would boot up my PC the Nvidia control panel messege kept saying my screen resolution or image changed or something. I have resorted to pluggin my PC into my HDtv but i get the same Nvidia control panel messege. Is there something wrong with the monitor i had or is it my graphics card, or possibly a glitch or bug somewhere. Please help if you can.

You need to follow the other poster's advice first... You need to determine whether it's the monitor or video card by trying it on another PC.

if the monitor works on ur friends pc you may need to crack open the case and have a look at the graphics card connections and check that they aren't damaged and that they are connected to the motherboard properly. hope the helps you out :)
