Hi Guyz I recently happened to change my VGA Card from the ATI Radeon HD4670 1GB DDR3 to the Nvidia Geforce GTX460 1GB DDR5. All that while when I used the ATI card, I had no issues at all and could play most of the games at Max Settings with absolutely no graphical errors. The reason of the replacement was because the ATI card's fan got jammed and could no longer use it. Expecting the GTX 460 to be a way better card I bought it and so far cannot play one game properly which is very disappointing and heartbreaking :( Whenever I play a game (FIFA 11 or Test Drive Unlimited 2), the game goes well and good enough for about 5 to 10 minutes and then suddenly the graphics of the game goes all wrong like wrong colors and at times its like each graphical image got displaced here and there, but the game still runs and the audio still works and all I can do is ALT-F4 the game. I could seriously appreciate some help out here. My computer specifications are as given below, I know its not such a high end PC but it should definitely run FIFA 11 with no problems! P.S. All the drivers are up to date. Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2180 @2.00GHz (2 CPUs) 4GB Ram NVIDIA Geforce GTX 460 1GB DDR5 Windows XP Professional x86

Card might be bad, or the card is overheating for some reason.

with a software along with it called Asus Doc, the temp is always between 35 to 40. Any other way you want me to check it?

Thats your computer power supply. Chances are, if you don't even don't what that is, you don't even have enough power for a GTX 460.

Just open the case and find the PSU make sure to read the text on the sticker and post all spec. here. (should say something like this, "480w combined output, +3v /10A, +5v /10A, +12 rail1 /16A, +12 rail2 /14A, -12 /0.5A..." )

I think you have a few problems. Your power supply probably isn't powerful enough, which could cause the graphics/stablity issues. It could also be because you went from an AMD graphics card to an Nvidia one. Make absolutely sure that you wipe your system 100% clean of the AMD drivers, and THEN install the Nvidia ones.

As far as those games running well, I think your expectations are a bit unreasonable. A GTX 460 is obviously more than strong enough to play Fifa 11 and Test Drive Unlimited 2.. But your CPU doesn't cut it. Look at the minimum requirements for those games-

http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=975&game=Test%20Drive%20Unlimited%202

Your 2ghz Core 2 Duo is below the minimum requirement for both games. Your system will struggle, as a gaming PC can only perform as well as it's weakest link.

the 4670 is a much weaker card than the 460 gtx. Did you make sure to update to the latest nvidia drivers from the website? alot of the time people skip this step, but it can solve most peoples problems.

Even once you get your stabilty issues worked out, you're going to get some pretty poor performance in many games because of your CPU. A 2.0ghz Core 2 Duo just doesn't cut it for most games now.
