Problem with Warhammer 40k Dawn of war 2

I bought it on steam and when it starts to download i get this message: Steam has found a problem with your local games file. Game files will now be re-acquired from the steam servers. and i click ok and it just keeps repeating anyone know what to do?

You can't play the game until tomorrow. It's really dumb if you ask me. If you bought it in the store you still can't play until Steam activates it. I found a work around though.Deihmos
