Problem_with_Crysis

Recently i bought my new PC with windows vista basic 32bit and 4890.But when i choose to play crysis there is no option for ultra high,there is only very high.I play in 1600X900,widescreen 16:9.Any ideas?

Dude.... there ain't any option for Ultra High, Very High is the MAX ¬¬

you have to use a Custom Autoexec/System.cfg to get Ultra-High Settings.

I recommend Helder Pinto ~ Ultra High.Config, although there might be better ones around now Days (defiantly not [CCC] in my opinion)I've always got good Performance and Looks Fantastic with Helder's .cfg file.

Very High is its top point on the vanilla version. There are mods to "enhance" so to speak to may the graphics stand out more beautifully. Its usually obtain by modifying files in the game

yes i know this problem , i had it on my PC , it is some kind of a bug , now the trick here is that we gonna trick the game by playing with it's files , what you gonna do is put the graphics on high, and then play with the game files to make the high options work the same as ultra !! ,

it is so simple , i tried it and it work , this is how you gonna fix it , follow me :

1- download this zip file

2- inside this file you will find two folders , open the one that named "CVarGroups very high"

3- copy all it's files

4- go to (CRYSIS > Game > Config > CVarGroups) on your hard drive

5-you will find here a similar files to the files that you copyed , so past the files here and replace the already existing

that's it

6- now open the game and put all the settings on high and play the game you will see that the high settings become to work as the ultra settings and the evidence is that you will notice that the sun have an awesome rays

now if you want every thing to go back as the way it was at the first place , then copy the files inside the other folder which is called "CVarGroups" to the same place in your hard drive (CRYSIS > Game > Config > CVarGroups)
