Greetings all, I'm kinda new here and dunno if somebody made a thread about this matter already. Anyways, here's the situation: I've gotten this particular game and tried to install it. From the beginning, it prompt me with an error: "Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid". I found a thread about this on a forum stating that the best solution would to erase some entries on the Registry (using Windows Vista x32bit). I deleted those and now I have this error: "configuration data for this product is corrupt. Please contact your support personnel". I've tried to fix my registry using 2 different softwares: CCleaner and RegistryBoost (they worked fine) but still having the same problem Any suggestion or idea would be highly appreciated :D Thanks,

C&C3 is not that new (March 2007), but is should work fine under Vista 32-bit. Check out the official C&C forums for help with this problem (see below). If no-one there can help you, then in my opinion you might want to consider a reformat & re-install of Windows. It seems like a system configuration issue, which might be simple to fix, but may take you forever to find the solution. BUT before formatting, try installing it on any other PC to make sure that the disk itself is not defective.

Hi, once again.... Just to let you know, the previous was resolved using a software called Windows Installer Cleaner. Basically, what it does is that it takes the Program (in this case, C&C3) and lets it run by it's own, without the intervension of Windows. Very useful tool....that's the way it installed... But now I got a different issue with the same game: Tiberium Wars - Kane's edition. Here's the new issue: I installed the Tiberium Wars and applied the patches. When I try to run it, it gets to a black screen and then it bounces back to the OS stating that Tiberium Wars is not responding. I've upgraded the game with the 1.9 patch (latest one) and it has the same problem However, there's a funny detail.... I've just installed the expansion of the game, Kane's wrath, and it works perfectly...isn't this weird? Any suggestion or step you recommend me for this would be grantly appreciated Regards,

I can't remember if I every tried to launch Tiberium Wars while I was playing Kane's wrath, but regardless I was playing this on Windows XP 32-bit. Or you playing under Windows Vista? If yes, did you try running it as Administrator? Or with a XP Compatibility Mode (right-click the shortcut or executable)?

Yes, I've tried to activate the Windows XP compatibility mode and I'm using Windows Vista x32, that step didn't work either....

install/Run the game as an administrator.
