Ok, so I was just browsing on the Harmony-central forums, when suddenly, one of those pop ups that says 'your computer is infected, you need *insert software name here* I tried to go back, but it had already redirected me to a site where a download bar was counting up. I managed to exit before it finished. As soon as I got out I done a system restore and am now doing a virus and spyware scan. But how does this happen? Is it something on my computer? Or the websites fault? I've been using harmony-central for months now and have had no problems with it until now.....what could be the culprit?

I think there is nothing on your PC because I had that to a few days ago. I was browsing to the net and suddenly there came a message that was telling me your PC is infected with spyware go to the site and download the tool to remove the spyware. I thought by myself how can i site upload a virus to my PC. So i closed FF and runned a virscan on my PC and there was NOTING i repeat NOTING found on my PC. So i really don't know what for kind of message it was but i just ignored it.
