Well, people tell me I have a pretty good processer.  But most games say that it is 2.21 GHZ "rated" at 3.20.  What does the "rated" mean?  Isn't it still 2.21?  Half Life 2 reccomends a 2.4, I always thought mine wasn't high enough.  Am I missing something here?  I'm pretty technology savy but I'm not sure what this means.  I'm only 14 btw -.-

You have an athlon dx 3200, ghz does not mean anything. your amd 3200+= a 3.2 ghz p4. IT will run hl2, hl2 is talking about pentium 4's which would be an amd 2400+

Oh, so you are saying my XP 3200+ is actually pretty good?  I wasn't thinking I couldn't run HL2 I was just using it as an example.  Do alot of games use Pentium as the box processer speed?  If so my processer is better then I thought. O.o

Yes all games, at least the last time I looked at a requirements box, use Pentium 4 speed as the standard, that's why it always says " or equivalent" next to it. A 3200+ should be equal to a 3.2 ghz pentium 4. Guess it would be too hard to say like, 3.2 ghz P4, 2.4 ghz AMD, or 1.6ghz C2D on the box.
