Hi, Apart from Steam & Gamespy Arcade, Which other programs/software out there should I download that you would recommend to enhance my PC Gaming experince for both single player & online gaming???...

xfire is pretty much all you need to be honest. I guess maybe teamspeak or skype might help, but those aren't super vital.

Teamspeak and Ventrillo. Not neccesary, but you will probably end up needing them anyway.

I'd bet your PC gaming experience will fare best with the most amount of RAM possible, which means without any programs running in the background. You can live without most of them, believe me. A general rule of thumb is "if it's not required by the game, don't install it".
