I remember seeing a link to a site/program or something that has to do with game frame rates but I can't remember what thread it was in. Is there anything out there that will let me monitor the frame rate while I play games?

FRAPs does this. There is an option to see what your frame rate is in game. Plus lets you record videos and/or take screenshots as well.

Fraps does an exceptional job. If you overclock with Rivatuner, you can also use it to monitor your fps as well.

I find Xfire to be inaccurate from time to time.

I like using EVGA precision for frame rate. You can change the size and color of the font unlike fraps.

Fraps has a free verison that you can use. All you have to do is open it up and then pull your game up and the FPS is displayed in the corner of your screen.

Cool... you can change the size of the counter in Xfire as well, but I dunno about the colour.

What other features does that come with? I may be interested in trying it out if it's completely free unlike Fraps where you have upgrade.

Yes, I'm so lazy that I am unwilling to type out a list of features that comes with a program while viewing the forum anyway! Oh yes, I am so lazy! It appears you're the lazy one. The time it took you to tell me that, you could've simply made a list rather than try to be funny, or witty. Because you were neither. I'm sorry I hurt your feelings by suggesting Frap.s =((((
