Still working as a BF2 mod, they've come a long long long way. Version 0.95 is set to release in 5 days. The engine has been a pain for the mod team to deal with, but I think they've overcome a ton of obstacles. I still remember the intensity. I'm probably gonna have to hop back into it.

I have a feeling they're reserving the title of v1.0 for their full game though. I would love to see what they come up with in a engine they can suit to their needs.

Sidenote: For those who are unaware, they're also working on a PR mod for Arma 2.

It's going to be awesome, the amount of content they are adding is mindblowing. Still no fast-ropes, though. That has to wait until they ditch the BF2 engine.

That...looks better than any multiplayer of games lately. And it's a damn mod.

How many servers are there and are there any that teach you how to play?

There are a load of servers but usually only 3-4 full at a time. The rest just have a couple of people in them. Full servers consist of 64 players.

Yes, there are training servers;)

People actually play this game/mod right. Not just running around noob-tubeing, grenade spamming, bunny hopping, ect.

This is one of the few games/mods in the FPS genre where people can use the term 'realism' in a sentence without anyone objecting to it. You sir have not experienced this game until you have played it. You can claim it looks like that, but I'd love for your to go into a server and play like that or even run without a squad. Anyone here who has even tried it will tell you exactly what will happen.

Yeah, one well placed grenade and you can never play the game again. There's even a PTSD mode where you return home and keep reliving the horrors of war all the time in your head. It's that realistic.

LOL... well it's not like Arma 2, it's no strict sim. It's pretty darn realistic though, I think it balances out the entertainment value out well with realism. I think what kills people is the lack of patience to understand how all the mechanics work. I'm sure with their full game they're gonna have some tutorial to go over it all with you. With this you get a PSD document which they highly suggest you read before you try the game. Even then it's best to tell the people in your squad that you're new to the game so they'll be more lenient on you and point out things for you. I'd say around 90% of the people who play it use mics.

GAT DAMN! I have to get back into this now :D Did they increase the graphics? It looks better, not sure if my card can handle it (5670 1GB).

Well Project Reality did boost the graphics a while ago, I'm not sure if they did recently, but their character models do tend to stand out. I'm sure your card can handle it fine.
