I m having this issue in prototype where the audio of the game is too low and hardly anything can be heard.I have searched through different forums and they say to change realtek audio properties but this option is not available in winxp sp3 any help would be greatly appreciated.

It seems to be a recurring problem for many PC Prototype players. The issue relies on how the game detects the on-board soundcard configuration. It is a bug that will be addressed in a future patch by Radical, I assume. For now, open your speaker settings, and fiddle with your sound settings : some users have stated that switching their configuration from Stereo to 7.1 Surround fixed the low sound. In all other cases, just crank up the volume manually.

I had low sound on Vista, it's clearly an issue with the game. But now that I installed new drivers, my sound is completely messed up. Everything is super high speed sound, way higher pitched than chipmunks. Obviously this game was made for consoles first and PCs later.
