Alright. So i want to be able to have something to be able to connect my ps2 and 360 to my moniter. I have a 22' Asus and it has VGA and DVI, i currently use DVI. I was wondering what the best way to do this, and the best way that leaves me with less wires. I don't want to have wires everywhere, and i want to be able to switch back and forth pretty easily. So probably some sort of box. If someone could tell me the best ways and the best performance/money ratio because i don't want to spend to much either.

PS2+LCD monitors=not so good picture. You basically get some kind of a converter, but from what I heard from people who tried it, its not that good.

for xbox 360...

You have to have an audio receiver of some sort that accepts the red/white audio cables. There's also a way to run the sound through your PC and out your PC speakers... but I don't know very much about that.

Lol i couldn't find my thread so im sorry about that. And im no longer getting a ps3, im getting a 360. So what's the use of each? And i think id rather have a ps2 --> moniter then nothing. My ps2 is sitting there without a tv hookup so.

And that box has some bad reviews, any other suggestions?

^ just checked on monoprice; found this for cheaper. The description:
Want to watch movies or recorded television programs on your computer monitor? This converter will allow you connect your video source devices like VCR's, camcorders or DVD players to your VGA computer monitor. You can even keep your computer connected and just switch between inputs. The converter supports both composite (yellow RCA) and s-video inputs. Simple to use. Connection cables and AC power adapter are included.Description

Is this worth it? xcm mega cool vga box ? It's like 80$ but i wonder if this means i wouldn't have to buy the 40$ cables for the 360. Because in that case it's 40 + 50 ( for the box above ) for it's price and yet it's amazing quality from what i hear.

I used to use the xcm mega cool vga box for PS2 and the quality is much worse than TV quality I wouldnt recomend it. PS3 or Xbox 360 works great on monitors though.

If you REALLY need to play your PS2, just get a used TV on Craigslist or something. I don't even think it has HD, so why would it matter if it's a great res or not?

So is the xcm mega cool vga box or whatever worth it for a 360? Or would a 50$ one, like the one shown before do? If it's worth it, i wouldn't mind spending the 80$ or whatever. Do you need anything other then the cords + box that comes in there? Like the 40$ Microsoft 360 cables?
