Over the past 7 months, I've slowly been refining my PS3's performance. First I got it in HD (1080p). Just recently I gotit hooked up to a 5.1 channel surround system. Now, I was to refine my online gaming. I've only been able to manage playing with up to 12 other people in any game without having lag. However, I would like to play Resistance online with up to 40 players and have no lag. Please help me out. I don't reallyknow enoughabout wireless networking to be able to figure this out on my own. This is the router I am using to wirelessly connect to my PS3:

Does this look like it should get the job done? Well, it isn't. Both the router and the PS3 are downstairs. The router is in my brother's room at the end of a hallway. Then, at the end of the short hallway is the living room where our PS3 is.
Some other info you might want to know:
1) We have a secure connection. Don't tell me not to use a secure connection. My mom works from home and we can't have anyone getting into our network and looking at our files. If getting rid of this secure connection is the only way to fix it then I can't do that.
2) We seem to always have a signal strength of anywhere between 65% and 90% on the PS3, according to the connection settings list.
That's about all I can think of that I know. I AM willing to buy a new router if that's all that I need to do, but you guys have to tell me what exactly is going wrong. Thanks a ton in advance!
