Good day guys, here is my story,

I have the creative arena soundblaster headset and its AWESOME, I love it on the PC, however whenever I try to plug it in to the PS3 and after adjusting the settings i cant hear anything but the sound of the mic somehow.

After some researching i found that the PS3 doesnt support some if not most of the USB headsets so i went out and started searching for a gaming headset that is compatible with the PS3 and the PC and i dont remember their name but i found a tritton headset and its name was AX720 or AX180 but i dont remember which one.

However on the packaging i found that the headset is compatible with teh PS3 and the XBOX without no mention of the PC somehow so that put me off of purchasing it.

However i have two questions, is it true that creative arena soundblaster doesnt work with the PS3 ?

And if thats true is there any way around it ?

If there is no way around it could you please tell me whether the Tritton AX720 or the AX180 compatible with the PC ??

Also i want to mention that i am in Egypt as it might help in helping me xD , also i found the Tritton headsets in Virgin Megastores.

Thank you and i appreciate any help that i can get :D.

The AX720 is compatible with the PC but as a buyer of 1, I dont recommend it, its too heavy and uncomfortable for long periods.

This. The in-line volume control is its biggest issue. It weighs down one side of the headset, however slightly it may be. It is decent overall though if you can get used to it. I used mine for a year before it broke.

The Headphone FAQ sticky at the top of the forum should have some useful info for you. Come back with any additional questions you might have, and good luck!

It says on teh website that it is a PC/MAC compatible in Europe only, is this true ? because like as mentioned before that the i am in Egypt xD .

How about the sound quality is it better than the creative arena soundblaster and teh fatality gaming headset ?

How would you rate it in comparison to the Creative arena soundblaster and teh fatality gaming headset ?

Thank you for making my post sticky :D .

This post is not sticky, I am suggesting you read the sticky post at the top of this forum titled, "Headphone FAQ." It contains a lot of information and recommendations that should help you select an appropriate headset for you.

Good luck,
