Quick question, is it worth it to invest in a PS4 controller dongle for PC? I've used PS4 controllers in the past, but often I've ran into connectivity issues, controllers duplicating themselves and controlling two characters at once, and I tried with bluetooth, but there's too much input lag... So, would the dongle bypass these issues or is it more of the same?

You can certainly try - those dongles doesn't cost heavy but If you do spend some money I'd get some quality brand like TP-Link

I use some cheap little Bluetooth adapter for mine. It has issues sometimes re-pairing, after I've un-paired it to connect to the PS4 again, but once it's paired it works fine. Don't notice any significant input lag.

Why not an X1 controller?

@horgen: can't speak for the OP, but for me, the PlayStation controller is just better for the games I'm using a controller for. Xbox layout and sticks/triggers are definitely the better handhold controller option for an FPS, but if I'm playing an FPS I'm using mouse and keyboard. I only use the controller for stuff like fighting, racing, third person GTA like games. For those, I much prefer the PlayStation over Xbox layout.
