hi, I'm looking to get a new PSU, and was wondering which one of these would you recommend. http://www.komplett.ie/Komplett/catalog/ZKB_01COM/29_PSU/default.aspx My rig is: Gigabyte GA-G33M-DSR2 4 gig ram GTX280 Q6600 My graphics card takes two PCI express cables so obviously I'd need a PSU to handle that. Thanks for any help.

Corsair, Antec and PC P&C are all reliable, I have a corsair 550w powering a Q6600 and a 5770.

Do you intend on going SLI?

If not 650 to 750 Watt is more than enough, if yes, you need 750 to 1000Watt PSU.

Corsair & Cooler Master I can recommend. Be sure to check out the reviews for the ones that catch you eye.

For your current rig, my choice would be one of these:

This. If you dont mind forking over another $40-50 bucks, you could get one in modular setup. On new egg, you also get a rebate card which makes the PSU virtually lower in price. I've purchased two Corsair 750w TX and they are still running well.

Most brand name PSU's have 2 or more PCI-e connections. The Corsair tx750 has four 6+2 PCI-e connections. They can be used in gpu's that require a 6-pin and/or 8-pin connector.

That will do for SLI/Crossfire with power to spare.
