If it were 100% efficient yes but PSU aren't 100% efficient so I would use a 500Watt.
I recently used an Earthwatts 500Watt on a Quad core Q6600 and 9600GT.
I guess I have no choice but to get a new psu. My current psu (350 watt) has had served me very well on my present system which is around 6 years old, Pentium 4 2ghz, Ati Radeon 9600xt. I'm planning to make a MAJOR upgrade but won't hurt much my pocket, that was why I was asking if my current psu is still okay. Most probably I'll get one of those brandnames you've suggested. Thanks a lot guys for your tips.
um five star rating wow your dumb
you should look at the specs no other peoples opinions since they will just be saying "ow wow this psu is the best ont he planet cuz i can run an 8800gt and a Q6600 with it"
I just love how some people think that they're electrical engineers...-GeordiLaForge-maybe some of us actually are 0_0. but i got a thermaltake purepower 500watt for like $50 bucks. it rocks
