My girlfriends PSU just packed it in, not surprising really as it was a cheap brand and way watt for the system. So I'm looking for some input into what to get. She running an AM3, Phenom x2 545, 2x2gb DDR3, ATI HD4870 and 2 sata hdds. Wondering what kind i should look for in the new PSU. Iv only got about $100AU too spare on its and she's not willing to wait as she wants her computer back for portal 2. So any help would be appreciated.

A corsair/Antec/Seasonic/thermaltake and other good quality 450w PSU's will power that system fine, the quality is important but don't go overboard with the wattage.
