Would rather have it that way, then have it fail at its job, I've seen it work well many times, and really have only heard one person say they got kicked incorrectly, and I troll the EA forums.
People will whine about PB all they want, but its a good system, and as you can tell from games that don't use it, the alternate is unacceptable.
It did the same **** to me a while back. 2 or 3 updates and a reinstall should do the trick. I contacted PB about it and they thought I did some hacking or something and didn't help me at all.

PB is a system used by money hungry companys that don't want to waste their time with a game after its release. Punkbuster IS worthless. Many games have alternate systems that are managed by the companys that made the game (AKA the companys that know the games programing). Not to mention Punkbuster wastes system resources.
i hate punkbuster, it wont let me join one server it just loads the game then as soon as im in it boots me and doesnt even say why it just says " punkbuster, click ok to continue"

Agreed.... Iv been kicked from Americas Army, COD2 sooo many times for random reasons Iv been banned from 2 servers cuz they thought I had hacks.
i got globally banned from CoD due to Punkbuster. At the time they even mentioned on their site that **** like that is known to happen, other programs detected as hacks and such. And no contact information for how to appeal it. I have hated Punkbuster ever since...
