Can somebody tell me whats so good about the qx9650 3.0ghz compared to a q6600 2.4ghz. For much more money is it only 600 mhz more?or is there something else that makes the qx9650 extreme more special and powerful? If a q6600 is overclocked to 3.0ghz will it be the same as the qx9650?

well its 45nm (i believe) so it will run cooler etc.. because of the smaller process

yes there is a 600mhz gain lol btu most get them because it hjas an unlocked myultiplier, meaning if your system cant handle a huge overclock form your dcpu, and yet u want mroe out of it, u can raise the multilier and that will only increase the speed of the processor

btu in my opinion the core 2 extremes are over priced rip offs

Yes the core 2 extreme is really a problem for people who like to have the best of the best.Even if I was a millionare I would still not buy a core 2 extreme CPU.

I am sure if intel had a $10000 CPU some people would still buy it.
