EVGA's E-LEET software allows you to overclock in Windows:

Only thing is your actual monthboard might have to have the features unlocked to do the overclocking, i am also not sure it supports your older chipset and LGA 775 socket.
I say, you'd be better of just getting a new board that can overclock.
are you sure you did it right? it's been working perfect for me...for years.... and yea it would bring you to 3ghz, not 4ghz....but 3ghz is still good for this cpu.
What if i put 2 tapes on 2 pins ?mravatar3There are diffrent types of bsel mod's, the one's iv'e seen include two pins that are linked together, the jiggly_wiggly link seems like the one. 3Ghz Q66 is fine for just about any game. Never OC s775 MB's with software, if anything it's done inside bios.
