Q6600 to E8500/E8400?

Hey, im looking at the dual cores and seeing their stock speeds, right now i have a Q6600 that is OC'd to 3.0 ghz, im happy with it, but will i notice a difference if i get an E8500/E8400 and OC that? or should i stick with my Q6600 for now?

you SHOULD notice a difference with something like a e8400 clocked @ 4ghz, especially factoring in the extra cache.

HOWEVER, your cpu should be perfectly fine for now ;)

wait for nehalem before next buidl withint laready have a Q6600 the best thing you can do is
buy a better cooling case : maybe water-cooling. or better airflow. then overlcock or save ya load of money for a 500$ nehalem build straigh X58 & nehalem. 350$
with that your sure to be having a major differance according some pre-benchmark of nehalems Betas
