Well if the 9550 goes to 310 thats less than the current price for q9450, so i'm guessin it might hit 260 or 270 hopefully

From what I've read the Q9450 will be phased out and will be replaced by the Q9400 at $266 come this fall.

At any rate i was reading that the 2.66ghz bloomfields might be in stores this september for around $284, but who knows, decisions....decisions....

This is true. Before the Q9450 is phased out, the price will stay the same. It will NOT drop. People think that the Q9450 price will drop because the Q9550 prices is dropping down to the price of the Q9450, but this is not true. Q9450 stays at same price until it is replaced, and Q9550 will match the Q9450's price or a bit lower.

Yea but if they want to sell them out shouldn't they drop the price.
