Hey is it possible to go quad sli with the ASUS Sabertooth 990FX AM3+ mobo and xfx's new XFX HD-577X-Z5F3 Radeon HD 5770 single slot? If so what advantage would you gain with that vs a single say 5970?

Dont think you can run a 5770 in quadfire. Also if its an SLI mobo you wont be able to run Xfire on it.

-Nvidia Multi-GPU is called SLI. AMD multi-GPU is called Crossfire. -5770 doesn't support tri or quadfire. -Running low-mid range cards in Xfire/SLI is a bad idea, just put the money towards a better single graphics card. -That motherboard does support quad SLI/Xfire.
