Hey guys.

Q6600 ($450) vs E7200 ($300). Will be OC'ing the E7200 to 3GHz, the Q6600 (I had the PC in my sig but sold) will be not OC'ed for a while.

Should I go dual graphics (Cheaper by $100-300) but future proofing.

Thinking maybe CrossfireX PCI-E 2.0 MoBo + 4890 ($500 should be) or 4870 ($400) or 4850 ($300).

Nvidia is still expensive (GTX260 216 $600...), but 2x 9800GT OC'ed editions is $450 which rip 4870.

RAM = Best I can buy, simple as that.

Sorta thinking of Phenom II X4 920 for $450 + 4850 + 4GB DDR2 1066 + 650W Corsair + Crossfire MoBo.

Help me chose, thanks.

$600 is correct for a good Brand e.g. XFX Black Edition.

I'm getting 750W now. $50 More.

Phenom II + 2 4870's is a good $2000+, I have around $1000 max... which is more than enough. Buying a $80 Case ATM, then buying fans. Then PSU.

Is SLi/Crossfire worth it now? Or just get a very good GPU? Thanks

I recommend getting the Q6600 and overclcokcing it to 3Ghz (no voltage increase needed)

As for video cards a GTX260 216core would be my choice, either that or a 4870.

I would get a Corsiar 850tx and a 4870x2 card. The 4870x2 card will max any game 1920 rez. The 4870x2 will beat out 4870 crossfire. And 850TX will handle 4870x2 in crossfire if you choose later. A 4870x2 would definitly be my choice.

Whoahh where are you buying your parts? They're so much more expensive than they are. A Q6600 should only be about $200 and a gtx260 should only be $180

As for the money, I suggest going with an AMD Phenom II Quadcore processor and a 4870 X2, perhaps two of them?

Also, make sure to only shop on www.newegg.com or www.tigerdirect.com
