The invite may take a day up to a few days, sometimes it comes in the same day.

Ive sent one to everyone so far, again, same rule applies, just wait!

Its called Nasa night launch, its a pretty cool skin, when you click on pages it shows a little shuttle taking off in the corner, gives you something to stare at while loading, lol

You should get one, i remember i did when i first joined, it was only like 3 though, but if you don't get any and i have more invites ill send him one. Ill add you soon as i get back on steam, i don't have L4D though :(, but i play TF2 a lot

*Air five* Awesome, make sure you check your invites. ALSO, you cant change your name as soon as you set it up, its lock's it in for the BETA, so choose something good you dont want to get stuck with "Donut humper" as a joke. Also if you want to see your invites when you sign up do this. go to the friends tab, Search and invite, then Invite a friend

A freaking rollercoster One Update, the game was AMAZING! The next update. Utter garbage, everything was unbalanced and felt off. Now though i think they got it right, The new map trinity shows of Id's skill of map making, the map itslef is a blast, the game is more polished though, originally alot of things made no sense (13 player count for CTF, wtf?), but they fixed many server's and overall the game is much faster and more efficent this time around. Still though, many things are missing from good old quake, one example is Clan Arena, in CA you would not be able to take damage from your own rockets, but now they chip you armor, and everyone was pissed about that, but id hasn't made any progress to remove it, another is no Freeztag, which is pretty much a quake 3 staple. But in terms of Bugs, almost zero, very solid/stable game, netcode is good, its a great free game, sure beats the hell outta other free FPS's (Combat arms)

damn now im really excited, i hope it comes soon! and i didnt realize that it runs off a website, and its projected to be free, that is pretty good news.

Yeah, you download all the files, then log into its beta website, and that takes you to the browser webpage. its great because i can watch what games are going on while going on the internet or something. Also Quake live will never "launch", it will just slowly move into a state where anybody can join, there will be no release date for this game.
