Apparantly the counter is false and is based on your own clock not real time. The demo should be out when the clock hits 10am in the west side of the united states. around 8-9 hours from now. But I've seen this sort of thing before and the guys supposed to remember about the rest of the world still wake up alot l8r than we do.

Yeah, ive been watching around the offi forums. and it looks like there is forming a mob here in europe becouse of people that cant even make a counter work. I really hope thay are doing a better job witht he game it self :P lol
We could atleast expected them to atleast say what country thay was talking about when saying the 10th 10am... god damn it. I really hate those guys for not being abel to make something as simple as a counter. Lets hope there is no counter for anything at all ingame.
Thay should just release it on the date is says on the freaking page. Not halfwayto 11th. I guess the release date is an error aswell. Maybe its the 3rd in europe insted the 28th this month..

If it's anything like the first Enemy Territory, you're sorely mistaken. This is team based, objective based gameplay (and not just dynamic outposts I'm assuming i.e. Battlefield).
anyone know where the best place to d/l from is? right now the only place i can even find it is at fileshack and the wait is like 30 minutes just to begin.
...WHOA...that demo was a total dissapointment....honestly, its just Battlefield with the quake characters....and the graphics....are old,sincerely didnt like the game, was hoping for something better, but oh well,its just my opinion, im not insulting the game or sumtin like that.
It runs surprisingly well on my rig. A64 3500+, 2GB RAM, 512MB 7600GS @ 1280 by 1024 normal settings without shadows. I don't know if I like it or not. Seems to hectic for me and I love UT and Quake. I hate the vehicle controls, they feel very unnatural to me. They don't pack the punch of other vehicles in similar games preferably Battlefield 2, 2142. The game just doesn't seem finished to me. The divide between new players and beta players is too great right now. I guess that's why they released the demo so early. I see now why quite a few have been calling it battlefield quake. Aside from the focused objectives and the faster movements that is. Well I better get back and try harder. My quickie impressions.

it's not battlefield with quake characters. It's Enemy Territory with Quake characters. People if you are looking for a battlefield type game, than this isn't the game for you!
