Q.U.B.E. - Wont Load?

Ordered QUBE off Steam, have installed, and reinstalled a few times now, and on different machines - and the game won't launch?

I've checked the Steam Forum and it suggested to Update all C++ Visuals etc...

Well, Ive done all that, and the game still wont load??

Anyone have the same issues and/or a fix for this?

Oh, and ditto if I either find an answer, or it magically just fixes itself.
