Do you ever REQUIRE to fly a helicopter to finish the SP modes?

You have to in OA, but it's easy enough (Just play the gunship tutorial and the littlebird mission(under scenarios) first) The only annoying thing is that your gunner sometimes can't figure how to press the fire button.

If you have no choice then just get into the air press autohover and move slowly.

It will be EXTREMELY SLOW and painful and you can get hit by AA.

Thanks for the replies, I asked that question because I spent over an hour yesterday trying to go through the damn rings in the OA tutorial (Developers, using rings for tutorials is annoying and old so change your techniques!), but if you don't really need to fly a helicopter then I'll seriously consider getting it if it appears on an encore on Steam tomorrow (For a sim the game was incredibly easy to play).
