I would personally avoid any headset that advertises "Surround Sound" for a couple of reasons. First, they use a usb interface, meaning that they would run off their own drivers, and not your sound card. Also, "Surround Sound Headphones" are merely a gimmick. Think about it. There are still only one speaker on each ear. A good stereo headset will not only provide good directional audio, but will also (potentially) have better sound quality. If you have that much money to spend on a headset, you should spend just a little more and get the Sennheiser HD555 + the Zalman Microphone attachment or save a ton of cash and buy the Razer Carcharias.

My above post was referring to the G35's by the way. The AD700's are decent and some of my friends deeply enjoy them.

Subway I suggest you actually keep up with today's headsets.

There ARE headsets that actually have up to 5 different speakers in each ear phone. Even though they may use USB and some use regular computer audio connectors, there ARE true surround sound headsets.

I would suggest looking at Sennheiser as well. They made every thing from consumer level headphones and headsets to professional grade music recording equipment.

Sorry for any confusion. I realize there ARE some, but the G35's are not one of them,

Second on the PC350. They are pricey but the best headset I've ever owned. Sennheiser makes some of the best headphones and this set includes a heavy duty high quality mic.
